I've had a few experiences from Paul's, one literally being highway robbery. But let's talk about some of the good experiences first. To start off with they really do have a great crust on their "by the foot" style of square pizza, nice and crunchy, with a decent robust sauce, where it comes apart is in the toppings. Sure the cheese may be good but most of the vegetables seem to be right out of the can, and in no way altered prior to throwing them on the pizza. I was appalled to find soggy canned mushrooms all over what was otherwise a great pizza. The cheese pizza I got for free with a coupon, I enjoyed thoroughly.
I even gave their mushrooms another try weeks later and after he insisted they were fresh, maybe it was opening weekend issues. Apparently by fresh he meant: fresh out of a can. They look no different and were in no way less soggy.
Now onto the last, and much worse experience. I have never had such poor customer service from anybody in my life. And it was from the cook/owner of the "establishment". I ordered the same buy 2 feet get one free (advertised in paper and via mailers) I did the first time around but with different toppings. But when I arrive and pay is when things go sideways. They take my money and bring up 2 large circular pizza's and a medium cheese pizza. Now this just didn't make any sense to me as that was no where close to what I ordered. I explained what I ordered and what coupon I just paid with, to which he replied: "Yeah, that's what you ordered" and "That coupon goes for this too, even though it don't say it." I of course wanted what I ordered but he insisted on me taking the pizzas and leaving (Putting it mildly), or I could "give him more money to remake the order correctly." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and at that point I had had enough anyway. The food was becoming less and less appealing and this was strike 3. And for the record, those pizza's were so bad they shouldn't be called pizza, especially NY Style, a completely different sauce and there was more grease in the dough than flour. Literally Inedible, they ended up in the trash, paper-toweling doesn't help soggy raw dough.
I will never go back to this "restaurant" and I recommend that you don't go the first time. But if you do, be forewarned, they also say they have fair prices on their menus, but even for their medium pizzas (and a 1x1 foot squares) it's up to an additional $3/per topping and that can make for some really expensive and small pizzas. If you want an additional topping on an Xtra-Large (or 1x3 foot square) it can run you up to nearly $8/Topping in their sliding scale of toppings they have set up. Along with Specialty Pizza's that make no discount on toppings, just be careful IF you decide to order!
**Update 11/24/13** Well it appears they're still up to their tricks. I saw this review on google+ and luckily he didn't hand his money over before they started to scam. (And the deal on the menu below says $6.77)
