The Savory Street International Café & Bakery

Otherwise known just as "The Savory."  It is a breakfast and lunch cafe that sometimes does nighttime events with an up-scaled menu, wines, etc., and usually for fundraising/charities. Some musicians and artists are invited so it can be a good night. But onto their daytime affair. If you haven't had apple pie pancakes you have no idea what you're missing! It is time! Pie for breakfast has arrived! Cinnamon, Sugar, and baked apples layered between delicious pancakes and topped with a smidge more cinnamon and powdered sugar for good measure.

One of their omelets, usually changing on the specials board but you can make your own. This was just a veggie omelet loaded with a ton of fresh ingredients and cheeses. Can't really go wrong with their omelets, health conscious choices and egg white omelets are also available.

They also have a good selection of soups, usually only 2/day, always changing. Below is a cheddar bisque they prepared and  some delicious crostini for dipping! There's nothing like a soup make from scratch, and fresh.

This sandwich  comes with avocado, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and it all comes together with perfectly Seared Flank Steak on a crispy Hoagie Roll/French Bread. And a side of their in house cut and cooked chips which are made to order and are starchy perfection! 

It's desert time! And I would find it hard to believe there's nothing special here for you. First pictured is the carrot cake, when you finish you won't know why you don't have it more!

 Tiramisu is a classic and usually always available, made fresh daily, delicious! 

I definitely recommend you give the Savory a try, at least stop by the bakery for some of their tasty treats. But their menu is so packed full of fresh surprises and always and daily specials, you might have just found your new lunch spot!
